After a string of four wins, Lake Gibson's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. Neither they nor the Sebring Blue Streaks could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result kept the Braves happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 16, 2024.

Lindsey Gonsalves and Peyton Haynes scored both of Lake Gibson's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

With that draw, Lake Gibson's record moves to 10-7-3. As for Sebring, they moved theirs to 9-7-2.

Both are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Lake Gibson will challenge Lakeland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lakeland will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lake Gibson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sebring, they will face off against Kathleen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sebring is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.
