Palmview entered their tilt with Rio Grande City on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Rio Grande City Rattlers by a score of 45-34. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 55-52 back in December of 2024.

Palmview got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Leo Rivero out in front who posted five points in addition to five boards and three steals. Rivero is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last three games he's played. Juan Dominguez was another key player, putting up seven points and nine rebounds.

Palmview is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.4 points per game. As for Rio Grande City, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 19-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palmview will venture away from home to square off against Nixon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Nixon's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.
