Softball Recap: Mona Shores Sailors vs. Rockford Rams
After having lost a blowout in their previous game, Mona Shores was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Rockford Rams. With that win, the Sailors brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.
Jaslene McHenry spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on nine hits.
On the hitting side, Raelyn Larry was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Those RBI marked the first that she brought in this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddy Faught, who went 1-for-3 with four RBI.
