North Side is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They lost 9-2 to Trimble Tech.
For Trimble Tech's part, Mario Reyna was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits (and not a single walk). Furthermore, Reyna didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024.
