Volleyball Game Preview: Notre Dame Pioneers vs. St. Thomas More Cougars + Official Tickets

Notre Dame is 0-10 against St. Thomas More since September of 2020 but things could change on Wednesday. The Pioneers will be playing at home against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m.

Notre Dame saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Slidell.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-15.

Meanwhile, St. Thomas More faced Teurlings Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Cougars came out on top against the Rebels by a score of 3-1. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

St. Thomas More had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-14, 25-19, 25-20.

St. Thomas More found their leader in sophomore Clare Thomson, who had 22 assists and nine digs.

St. Thomas More's win bumped their record up to 29-5. As for Notre Dame, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.
