Baseball Recap: Morristown-Hamblen West Takes a Loss

Morristown-Hamblen West was the 8-4 winner over Sevier County when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Smoky Bears on Monday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Charles Dewald made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Morristown-Hamblen West's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Sevier County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-13 record this season.
