Volleyball Recap: Cheyenne Desert Shields vs. Las Vegas Wildcats
Cheyenne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Las Vegas Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Desert Shields of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-18.
Cheyenne's loss dropped their record down to 11-21-1. As for Las Vegas, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 12-21 record.
Cheyenne will welcome Canyon Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Las Vegas, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Somerset Sky Pointe on the 19th.
