Basketball Game Preview: Moses Brown Quakers vs. South Kingstown Rebels

Moses Brown is on a eight-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while South Kingstown is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Moses Brown Quakers will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the South Kingstown Rebels at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Moses Brown is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Chariho to the tune of 83-39 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Donovan Clement and Otis Crosby were among the main playmakers for Moses Brown as the former went 10 for 12 on his way to 24 points and the latter went 9 of 13 en route to 23 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. The matchup was Clement's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Collin Mburu, who posted nine points.

Moses Brown was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, South Kingstown faced North Providence in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. South Kingstown put the hurt on North Providence with a sharp 61-36 win.

South Kingstown's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Moses Brown, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
