Baseball Game Preview: Green Canyon Wolves vs. Westlake Thunder

The Green Canyon Wolves are taking a road trip to take on the Westlake Thunder at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 12 consecutive losses for Green Canyon and three for Westlake.

Last Friday, Green Canyon didn't have quite enough to beat Northridge and fell 7-6.

Meanwhile, Westlake came up short against Provo on Tuesday and fell 8-5.

Andrew Hernandez stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he scored two runs while going 2-for-3. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Jason Bruck was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Westlake now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Green Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.
