While Adena's victory against Piketon wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Redstreaks on Saturday. The game snapped a strange streak: the last six times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Adena's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11. As for Piketon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Adena will face off against Zane Trace at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Piketon, they will take on Chillicothe at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
