Preview: West Logan Christian Academy Warriors vs. Wyoming East Warriors
Having just played yesterday, the West Logan Christian Academy Warriors will jump right back in to play the Wyoming East Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. West Logan Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Wyoming East likes a good challenge.
West Logan Christian Academy pushed their score all the way to 59 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Greater Beckley Christian by a score of 61-59.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jacob Walls, who scored 26 points. The matchup was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Adams, who scored 18 points.
Meanwhile, Wyoming East managed to keep up with Bluefield until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Wyoming East was beaten by Bluefield 68-41. Wyoming East has struggled against Bluefield recently, as their contest on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
West Logan Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Wyoming East, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
