Volleyball Recap: Pungo Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Pungo Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Halifax Academy Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Monday.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-17, 25-8.

Halifax Academy found their leader in sophomore Emma Inscoe, who had 11 aces.

Pungo Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Halifax Academy, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Pungo Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against The Oakwood School on the 16th. As for Halifax Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Lawrence Academy on the 16th.
