Volleyball Game Preview: Great Oak Wolfpack vs. Vista Murrieta Broncos

Great Oak is 1-8 against Vista Murrieta since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Wolfpack will be playing in front of their home fans against the Broncos at 6:30 p.m. Great Oak will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Last Wednesday, Great Oak made easy work of Murrieta Valley and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Great Oak never let Murrieta Valley on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-18, 27-25.

Meanwhile, Vista Murrieta got the win against Temecula Valley on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Broncos.

Vista Murrieta's got stronger as the match went on, holding Temecula Valley to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 25-16.

Vista Murrieta's win bumped their record up to 15-18. As for Great Oak, they pushed their record up to 21-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Great Oak skirted past Vista Murrieta 3-2 in their previous matchup back in March. Do the Wolfpack have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Broncos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
