Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Curtis Baptist to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ty Shine, who scored 13 points along with two steals. Shine has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Treivan Wright was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Sandhills bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.3 points per game. As for Curtis Baptist, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.
