Softball Recap: Nolensville Knights vs. Centennial Cougars
There's no place like home for Nolensville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They never let the Centennial Cougars get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won five matches by eight runs or more so far this season.
Addi Leichty was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. That stolen base was her first of the season.
