Basketball Recap: Levi Yee's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Live Oak over Crystal Springs Uplands

The Live Oak Acorns ended up a good deal behind the Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons on Tuesday and lost 68-52. While the Acorns didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Gryphons 19-10 in the first quarter.

Live Oak's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Levi Yee, who posted ten points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Nathan Lozano, who earned 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Live Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Live Oak will welcome Seaside at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Crystal Springs Uplands has already played their next matchup (against Hillsdale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
