After having lost a blowout in their previous game against London, Walnut Ridge was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 57-25 victory over the Marion-Franklin Red Devils. With the Scots ahead 35-9 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Walnut Ridge was led to victory by J'Khyla Foster and Deja Briggs. Foster shot 55% from the field to rack up 17 points and seven steals, while Briggs went 9-for-22 en route to 21 points and four steals. Those seven steals gave Foster a new career-high. Nariyah Roddy was another key player, putting up six points in addition to six boards and five steals.

The win got Walnut Ridge back to even at 1-1. As for Marion-Franklin, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.
