Soccer Game Preview: James Wood vs. Millbrook

The James Wood Colonels will head out on the road to take on the Millbrook Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

James Wood is headed into the game without a loss and will look to keep things rolling. They skirted past Clarke County 3-2.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Millbrook). They put the hurt on Warren County with a sharp 7-1 victory on Thursday. Millbrook haven't had any issues with Warren County recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The victory got Millbrook back to even at 2-2. As for James Wood, their record is now 4-0-1.

James Wood couldn't quite get it done against Millbrook in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can James Wood avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
