Miramar had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Hallandale Chargers. This was payback for the Patriots, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory didn't come easy: Hallandale scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20, 20-25, 25-18.

Miramar's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-5. As for Hallandale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miramar will welcome Flanagan at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hallandale, they will square off against McArthur at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
