Wahoo extended the longest winning streak in C1 District 3 this week by beating Arlington, 42-8. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Wahoo led the league in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on the Eagles.
Ashland-Greenwood's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Gunnar Garner threw for 13 yards and Tyler Craven had 12 yards receiving. On the ground Jordan Scheil chipped in 105 yards. Scheil helped Ashland-Greenwood's passing attack out by catching one ball for one yard.
Ashland-Greenwood's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bluejays feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Garner has thrown for 749 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Craven has 25 catches for 384 yards. Scheil leads the league in rushing with 824 yards.
The Bluejays made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,490 from 5,914. The improvement was the result of 14-6 victory over Syracuse last week.
