Hull-Daisetta is 6-0 against High Island since November of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Hull-Daisetta Bobcats face off against the High Island Cardinals at 7:04 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Hull-Daisetta is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Brookeland just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Friday. They were beaten by the Wildcats 81-33. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1078th, while the Wildcats are ranked 498th).

Meanwhile, High Island was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 51-13 loss at the hands of Chester.

Hull-Daisetta's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-8. As for High Island, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-22.

Everything came up roses for Hull-Daisetta against High Island in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 60-20 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hull-Daisetta since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
