Basketball Recap: Keota Takes a Loss

Keota was the 52-35 winner over Leflore when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Keota Lions fell 33-24 to the Leflore Savages on Friday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Keota's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Leflore, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-7 record.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Keota Lions challenge the Canadian Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Leflore, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 46-35 loss against McCurtain on the 14th.
