Baseball Recap: Hopewell Comes Up Short

Hopewell lost against Central Valley on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings came up short against the Warriors, falling 13-5. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Logan Triscila made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Hopewell's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Central Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Hopewell wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-2 loss against Blackhawk on the 5th. As for Central Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Hampton on the 5th.
