Football Recap: St. Mary's Rams vs. East Union Lancers
After flying high against Lincoln last Wednesday, St. Mary came back down to earth. The St. Mary's Rams took a 30-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Union Lancers. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lancers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August.
St. Mary's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kylie Limbrick, who picked up 150 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Victory Bragg, who threw for 465 yards while completing 85.3% of her passes.
St. Mary's loss dropped their record down to 20-5. As for East Union, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.
