Burleson is 10-0 against Everman since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Burleson Elks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Everman Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Burleson has three straight victories, Everman has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Burleson's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over North Crowley.

Logan Tate was the driving force of Burleson's attack as she scored both of Burleson's goals, bringing her season total up to 12 goals.

Meanwhile, Everman lost 4-1 to Brewer last Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 462nd, while the Bears are ranked 221st).

Everman's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Burleson, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Burleson took their win against Everman when the teams last played back in February of 2022 by a conclusive 6-0. Will Burleson repeat their success, or does Everman have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
