Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Lake Fenton's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

Lake Fenton lost to Cass Tech back in September of 2016, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Blue Devils won by a set and slipped past the Technicians 2-1.

Jillian Ferrill paced Lake Fenton's offense, picking up 15 kills. Ferrill got some help from Molly Rhind and her 14 assists. Ferrill was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Lake Fenton has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-13 record this season. As for Cass Tech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-19-1.

Lake Fenton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Anchor Bay on the 18th. As for Cass Tech, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against South Lyon East on the 18th.
