Volleyball Recap: Illinois Math & Science Academy Titans vs. Timothy Christian Trojans
Illinois Math & Science Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Timothy Christian Trojans. The Titans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.
Illinois Math & Science Academy may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 11 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-11.
Ibrahim Bah paced Illinois Math & Science Academy's offense, picking up three kills. Bah got some help from Sergey Tyan and his four assists. Tyan was also a major player on defense: he and Nicholas Mohyla shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with two each.
