Browne hadn't done well against Maryvale recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Bruins came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers, sneaking past 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Bruins: when they faced off against the Panthers back in March, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

Browne's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-8. As for Maryvale, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-6.
