Basketball Recap: Mountain View Prep Piles Up the Points Against Carolina Academy

Mountain View Prep picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They breezed past the Carolina Academy Trojans to the tune of 65-14.

Leading Mountain View Prep to victory were Zaylen Washington and Ma'Ori Henderson. Washington posted 16 points and five steals, while Henderson shot 70% from the field to rack up 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Harris Brown, who had eight points in addition to six assists and three steals.

The win got Mountain View Prep back to even at 1-1. As for Carolina Academy, their record is now 0-2.

Coming up, Mountain View Prep will square off against Pendleton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Carolina Academy, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Greenville H at 7:30 p.m. on December 1.
