Recap: St. Michael's Horsemen vs. Santa Fe Demons
The St. Michael's Horsemen scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They managed a 60-56 win over Santa Fe. The win was just what St. Michael's needed coming off of a 55-35 defeat in their prior contest.
St. Michael's got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Elsie Odai out in front who scored nine points along with 12 rebounds and four steals. Odai is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games she's played. Jada Lujan was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five steals.
St. Michael's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4. As for Santa Fe, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10.
St. Michael's will head out on the road to square off against Santa Fe Indian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Santa Fe, they will be playing at home against Cleveland at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
