Soccer Recap: Canyon Lake Takes a Loss

If Canyon Lake was riding high fresh off their 9-0 takedown of IDEA South Flores on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. 2025 welcomed Canyon Lake with a 4-1 loss courtesy of the Steele Knights on Friday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Canyon Lake couldn't quite close it out.

Canyon Lake now has a losing record at 1-2.

Canyon Lake will take on Iowa Colony at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Steele, they will challenge Taylor at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
