Softball Recap: Centralia Comes Up Short

Centralia fell victim to Marion and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 1-0. The Orphans haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Centralia's defeat dropped their record down to 19-3. As for Marion, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

While Centralia had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
