 El Diamante is 9-1 against Golden West since May of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Thursday. The El Diamante Miners will head out on the road to  face off against  the Golden West Trailblazers at 4:30  p.m. El Diamante is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2  runs per game  this season.
 El Diamante stacked  a  tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by  a  10-2 margin over Porterville. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for El Diamante.
  Jorja Moreno was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off   six  hits. Moreno has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in nine consecutive pitching appearances. Moreno was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Ashley Espino and  Mikayla Moreno did most of the damage at the plate:  Espino  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, a  triple,  and  an  RBI, while  Moreno  went 2-for-3 with a  triple, two  RBI,  and a  run. Another player making a difference was  Alexis Ruvalcaba, who  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI and a  stolen base.
 Meanwhile,  after soaring to ten  runs the game before, Golden West was a bit more limited  in their  contest  on Tuesday. They fell just short of Redwood by a score of  4-2. Golden West has not had much luck with Redwood recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
 Golden West saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Aniyah Venegas, who  went 1-for-3 with  an  RBI.
 El Diamante has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight games,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record  this season. As for Golden West, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-8.
 Thursday's   matchup will be a test for both team's pitchers. El Diamante hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .352. However, it's not like Golden West struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .353. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 El Diamante skirted past Golden West  6-4 in their previous matchup  back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for El Diamante since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
