Softball Game Preview: Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters vs. Girard Academic Music Program Pioneers

The Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters will square off against the Girard Academic Music Program Pioneers at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

While Abraham Lincoln's victory against Constitution wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Railsplitters had just enough and edged out the Generals 18-17 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Girard Academic Music Program didn't have quite enough to beat Nueva Esperanza on Wednesday and fell 22-21. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Girard Academic Music Program's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Abraham Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Everything went Abraham Lincoln's way against Girard Academic Music Program in their previous meeting back in April of 2019, as Abraham Lincoln made off with an 18-1 victory.
