Football Recap: Unity Comes Up Short

After soaring to 44 points the game before, Unity was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were beaten by the Boyceville Bulldogs 54-6. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 257th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 76th).

It was another big night for Carson Roemhild, who threw for 197 yards and four TDs for Boyceville. Landyn Leslie was Roemhild's top target, picking up 54 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 50 yards.

Unity's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Boyceville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Unity will challenge Webster at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Boyceville, they will head out to challenge Spring Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
