Basketball Recap: Tyrone Jamison Key Part of Team Effort in Cavaliers Win

Calvary Baptist Academy picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Summer Creek Bulldogs by a score of 75-66.

Calvary Baptist Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyrone Jamison out in front who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 assists. Jamison's afternoon made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Robert Wright, who went 8-for-11 to rack up 19 points.

Calvary Baptist Academy's record is now 4-1. As for Summer Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Calvary Baptist Academy and Summer Creek will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Cavaliers see the court they'll take on Parkway at 7:30 p.m. on the 9th. As for Summer Creek, their break will end when they face Cypress Creek at 7:00 p.m. on the 9th.
