Softball Recap: St. John Comes Up Short

The St. John Fighting Herald lost 17-7 to the Geneva Eagles on Tuesday.

Mary West and Caitlyn Carney did some serious damage despite the final result: West scored a run while going 1-for-3, while Carney scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

St. John dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, St. John will face off against Lordstown at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Geneva, they will challenge South at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
