Basketball Game Preview: Training Center Christian vs. Center Place Golden Eagles

Training Center Christian and the Center Place Golden Eagles will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. Training Center Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.9 points per game this season.

On Monday, Training Center Christian came up short against El Dorado Christian and fell 54-42. Training Center Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Training Center Christian might have lost, but man, Creed Lopez was a machine: he dropped a double-double on 32 points and 12 boards. Lopez's evening made it 13 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Bryce Bryan, who posted six points in addition to seven boards and four steals.

Meanwhile, Center Place was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Plaza Heights Christian Academy, falling 64-39. While losing is never fun, the Golden Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 515th, while Plaza Heights Christian Academy are ranked 128th).

Training Center Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Center Place, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
