Soccer Recap: Jefferson County Comes Up Short

Jefferson County lost against Cleveland back in April of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Sunday. Jefferson County lost 6-1 to Cleveland. Jefferson County have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Elijah Cornwell, who's now up to three this season.

Jefferson County's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Cleveland, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2-1.

Looking ahead, Jefferson County will challenge Science Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cleveland, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against East Hamilton on the 25th.
