Basketball Game Preview: Beauregard Hornets vs. Dadeville Tigers

Beauregard is 4-0 against Dadeville since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Beauregard Hornets will face off against the Dadeville Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Beauregard will be strutting in after a victory while Dadeville will be coming in after a loss.

Beauregard is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against LaFayette on Tuesday. Beauregard enjoyed a cozy 46-28 win over LaFayette.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Beauregard to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lindsey Moulton, who posted 15 points along with seven boards and five steals. The dominant performance gave Moulton a new career-high in points. Kam Torbert was another key player, putting up six points along with eight assists and six steals.

Meanwhile, Dadeville scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 54-35 bruising from Horseshoe Bend.

Dadeville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Beauregard, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Beauregard against Dadeville when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as the squad secured a 51-13 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Beauregard since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
