Basketball Recap: Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Gets the Win

Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop hadn't done well against Lester Prairie recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds walked away with a 68-61 victory over the Lester Prairie Bulldogs. This was a revenge game for the Thunderbirds: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in January, they had to take a 72-51 defeat.

Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop's win bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Lester Prairie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-13.

As of now, neither Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop nor Lester Prairie have any future games scheduled.
