Basketball Recap: Saddle River Day's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Saddle River Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 66-62 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Mary Gaels. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-62 last Sunday.

Saddle River Day's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-7. As for St. Mary, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Saddle River Day has already played their next matchup (against Cliffside Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. St. Mary wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 71-40 win against Wood-Ridge on the 21st.
