Soccer Game Preview: Atkins vs. Glenn + How To Watch

Atkins hasn't had much luck against Glenn recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Camels will head out to take on the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. Atkins is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

Atkins will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating North Forsyth, who they had gone 0-6 against in their six prior meetings. The Camels walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Vikings on Wednesday. Jacob Brewer had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Atkins got from the refs.

Atkins hit North Forsyth with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Zander Graves (2), William Roehrenbeck, and Darian Pisapia.

Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, Glenn was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They lost 4-0 to Mount Tabor. Glenn haven't had much luck with Mount Tabor recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Atkins is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four matchups. Having lost for the first time this season, Glenn fell to 13-1-3.

Atkins suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Glenn when the teams last played back in September of 2021. Can the Camels avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
