First Baptist Christian Academy pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.5 points per game. As for Global Outreach Charter Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

Everything came up roses for First Baptist Christian Academy against Global Outreach Charter Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 55-22 win. In that game, First Baptist Christian Academy amassed a halftime lead of 36-12, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
