Game recap: Pilot Point High School Football Team wins against Bowie

PILOT POINT, Texas - Bowie (Texas) fell 34-19 to Pilot Point (Texas).

After taking the lead on a touchdown in the second quarter, the Bearcats were up 21-13 at the half.

Pilot Point expanded its lead to 21 points entering the fourth quarter. PP scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by Travis Garrett to Mat Greenwood.

The victory was a step in the right direction for the Bearcats, who were coming off a 37-10 defeat at the hands of Whitesboro in its previous game. The loss was the third in a row for the Jackrabbits.

Bowie (3-6) goes up against Callisburg when they take the field next week. The Wildcats enter the tilt sporting a 6-2 record for the season.
