River Road waltzed into their contest  on Friday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They put the hurt on the Childress Bobcats with a sharp  11-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 14 games by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
 Ava Sharp made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out 12 batters over  seven innings while giving up  three earned runs off   five  hits. She has been consistent  recently: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Carol Koval was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. She has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Isela Delgado, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-2.
 River Road  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in six consecutive  matchups.
River Road's win was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 22-8.
