Volleyball Game Preview: San Juan Spartans vs. Vacaville Christian Falcons

The San Juan Spartans will square off against the Vacaville Christian Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

San Juan managed to slip by Lindhurst the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. San Juan came up short against Lindhurst on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

While San Juan was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Lindhurst's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Vacaville Christian entered their tilt with Saint Mary's on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since March 7th.

San Juan dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Vacaville Christian, their win bumped their record up to 13-3.

San Juan came out on top in a nail-biter against Vacaville Christian in their previous matchup back in March of 2023, sneaking past 3-2. Will San Juan repeat their success, or does Vacaville Christian has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
