Soccer Recap: Liberty County Takes a Loss

Liberty County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Long County Blue Tide, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Liberty County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 438th, while Long County are ranked 116th).

Liberty County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Long County, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Liberty County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Long County, they will host Jeff Davis at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Long County has won three straight at home, while Jeff Davis won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
