Baseball Recap: Hinkley Comes Up Short

Hinkley lost to Arvada back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Thunder fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2.

Hinkley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Juan Pedro Rivera De La Torre, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Hinkley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Arvada, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9.

Looking ahead, Hinkley will face off against Kennedy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Thunder's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Commanders have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season. As for Arvada, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Strasburg on the 30th.
