Basketball Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 74-48 to the Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while the Fighting Tigers are ranked 87th).

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Breckinridge County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Looking ahead, Trinity will venture away from home to face off against McLean County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Breckinridge County, they will host Edmonson County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
